Dungeon runners isnt a bad game at all

Any one else try this? Its nice to play when WoW servers are down (for me any way) or when just killing some time

    Wife and I started this last night...not too bad really.  Only issue I have atm is that in order to utilize the really uber stuff you have to be a paying member, which at this point and time is fairly cheap...like 4.99 USD per month. Other then that not too bad of game play and graphics are decent too..if anything listening to some of the NPCs talk when you interact with them makes me laugh!

    I have to agree Dungeon runner is not great but it is not that bad. I find it fun for the hour or so I have to kill from time to time. I would prefer paying about 19 buck for the game and then play free. The 4.99 is not bad but this is not the type of game you should pay anything to play. A small fee to download game client. I will give NCsoft credit fro trying new game ideas and different way to pay. Hopefully they will hit a homerun and blend many of their experiments together into a truely great MMORPG.

    Just wait for Mythos, I tried both and I can tell you Mythos, even in alpha, is way better than Dungeon Runners.

    I found Dungeon Runners to be HORRIBLE. So far, the worst online game I have played this year by a longshot. There are lots of other free games that are much better this this game Imo.

    Too me, it is just too pointless to bother with. The game is the definition of grind and while I appreciate the humour they try to inject into the game, I can't see myself spending any more than the few hours I have already played of it...

    I'm really very sorry. They managed to not get ANYTHING right in this game. Everything from camera view to character skills the game is horrible. I played this game for 30 mins and couldnt believe that people still like this crap. Go play diablo imo its far better and much much more fun.

    I have plenty of single player games that appeal to me more than DR did.  Ah well, the search continues!  ;)

    I went into DR with very little expectations and found my short 30-90 mins stints in their gameworld enjoyable.  I often found myself snickering, giggling, or laughing out loud at much of the humor they put into the game.



    For what it's worth, I bought into it and have a subscription.  It's a nifty little game.

    Haven't had too much time to play this one, but I do have it.  Played a few days and love the humor in the game thus far.

    Yeah, it's nice to play an MMO that doesn't take itself too seriously. On the other hand, this game still has a little way to go yet. The camera is a little to clunky and combat just doesn't feel as smooth as it should. I went into this expecting something similar to Diablo 2 or Dungeon Siege. The pace just didn't compare to those two greats.



    I'm hoping that they smooth out the rough edges before release, but then again this is supposed to be a free game. At any rate, this is a nice casual game for those of us that can't spend 4+ hours a day playing.

    I could only understand one playing it if they really don't wanna pay. Not even a game that has no monthly fees. Or if they doesn't bother downloading any games aswell.



    On the other hand DR isn't so much free IMO. It's very annoying and boring not to have a bank as a free member. And that you must sell all good loot



    I recommend to those who liked DR to try Titan Quest or Diablo 2 if they doesn't know what games theese are.
