comparison

iv seen and heard alot of things about aoc and thought what would be nice was a comparison eg

is the lvling like :// wow where you reach max lvl easy  or like if any1 has played it myth of soma where the max lvl dosnt mean much to the game

stats :// like wow ( ill use wow alot as i know most ppl know that) where you all get a set ammount after each lvl or do you get stats as you lvl but in alot smaller quantities  or does your actions during that lvl decide the stats you gain during lvl up

crafting :// is it like final fantasy 11 where you can in thery master many professions  or  wow where you are limited to 2

pvp:// if possible compare parts of the pvp system to other games like the basic idea being based on daoc

hopfully you all understand where i am coming from as i think this can give ppl a very good idea of what to expect  if they know the basic ideas eg pvp a bit like daoc lvling a bit like final fantasy crafting a bit like wow

i know that it is hard to do because each game is indervidual so saying its like wow wont be correct but its the closest you can get to any other game

Sheesh is almost right, most of the detailed information on this subject won't be known till open beta, however:

is the lvling like :// wow where you reach max lvl easy  or like if any1 has played it myth of soma where the max lvl dosnt mean much to the game

It is supposed to be fairly casual in terms of leveling, as such it should be comparable to WOW's leveling, but just how close or far it will be is unknown.

stats :// like wow ( ill use wow alot as i know most ppl know that) where you all get a set ammount after each lvl or do you get stats as you lvl but in alot smaller quantities  or does your actions during that lvl decide the stats you gain during lvl up

None of the above. Every time you gain a level, you get a certain number of points, these points can be invested in whatever skills/attributes/feats you want. You could potentially be a musclebound warrior with almost no strength at all if you so choose (although that wouldn't be a good idea.)

crafting :// is it like final fantasy 11 where you can in thery master many professions  or  wow where you are limited to 2

If you choose the crafter prestige class, you can access and master all of the tradeskills. If you choose any other prestige class, you get access to at least one tradeskill.

pvp:// if possible compare parts of the pvp system to other games like the basic idea being based on daoc

PvP is focused around sieges and formation combat. Lets say your guild builds their city, they must defend it from attackers and/or eliminate the attacker's base first. There are no factions, no Horde vs Alliance, the only enemies and allies you have are the ones you and your guild know and fight with/against. large scale tactics will play a major part. For example, if i were leading a group of cavalry on a large battlefield, I might swing around the opposing force and charge into their flank/rear, smashing into soft targets such as their ranged units/casters/healers/etc.

The closest PvP system overall would be the one found in the MMOG Shadowbane, although there are significant differences.

In terms of PvP there are also available arena matches and nonlethal tavern brawls.

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
