Question about quest exp...

From what I understand you can only get half your lvl in exp from quests.

So what happens if you have half your level from quest exp already and then you do another quest, do you get no exp for completing that next quest?

    You get the xp, its only limited xp/quest.

    ah ok, so if I was at max quest exp for the level, I would only get half the exp for the next quest completed?

    It will only give you enough to get half way through your next combat level.  This is done to prevent  you from leveling multiple levels at one time off of a high xp quest.
