What's the endgame like?

For anyone who's beta tested for a long time, what is the endgame like? Or did they even let you test it?

I"m assuming you'll be dungeon farming for gear for the most part.

But also, what about the raid content? Was any of it allowed to be tested?

Well, I for one did not want to see the end game so I did not play a character through to finish. I can tell you that the game is not heavy in the farming for stuff ideaology so you will probably be doing some major quests at the end with larger raid groups.

On the US servers we didn't get a chance to check out the raid content. They do have a Test server set aside recently which may have all this stuff up on it. They also only opened up some of the end game content about a week before the beta was over. I didn't finish all the quests in Eastern Angmar, but it seemed like there were a lot to keep you busy until you go to 50.

Without seeing the Raid instance I can only guess that you will be taking many trips into it. It has 15 or so quests for that one Raid instance alone. You can make a raid of up to 24 players. Some of the quests had collect 100 items as their objectives.

The PvMP is ok. It will be a nice diversion from the player side, but not something I would be fully dedicated into pursuing. I don't really like the mechanics of PvMP as it is right now, though it will always be fun to fight against something that isn't AI.

Anyone that actually knew the answer to your question would need to be a tester on LOTRO super secret test server, and if they told us, they would be banned from that server before they knew what hit them.
