Tried it,it sucks. ANyone who thinks htis a good game is crazy, such a simple easy game, runescape 100x better.

    That's right. Eve beat Runescape. Runescape beat MapleStory. And ofcourse: MapleStory beat nothing. It really suck. Especialy after I reached lvl 18. It takes to much time to lvl.

    So they know what you like and know what you yearn but they don't know a thing about me.
    I'm not that easy, I'm a blank file in their memory.
    Still they try to take over, control my life, but no one can do it but me.

    MapleStory is such a big game =_=, it beats a lot of games , even that crap of Runescape

    Boring... too many grinding.





    Things need to be charge for intearacting purpose instead of core grinding xp.

    Xp should be cap and introducing basic pvp system in maple.

    Dude, LEVEL 18?! I'm level 32! It doesn't take long to level unless you're impatient. MapleStory is good... You just need to give it some time.



    Edit: ........... Okay, never mind. Grinding is impossible, and the community is full of hackers, scammers, and cruel people.

    Yeh I'm not a fan of this game either.

    A friend raved about it for ages and told me to try it. He set me up with a good place that he said I should grind till about 18, then he'd take me to another place to grind to another arbitrary level.

    That's all it seems to be - grind. Stand in one spot, he says, and kill the blobs as they get onto your level...

    The game is big, and I wanted to look around, but I had to be prepared to spend a few hours grinding till I was tough enough - no thanks.

    Well i have a lvl 72 ranger and it didnt take long to get him to that lvl (about 4-5 months). If you try hard you can get there . However i do admit that MapleStory does kinda suck. You train and train and train non-stop till you finally reach that off-distant heaven (level 70), then when you finally reach it, it sucks. A few new skills, a new title, and a little pride (a LITTLE ). Its not really that great so i dont reccomend getting too addicted to MapleStory. Try something like WoW or GuildWars which have level limits. (but not Runescape, oh god dont even get me started on Runescape).

    this game realy sucks.

    i played it till lvl 31 and it began to be boring.

    i dont understand every1 that gets to very but very high lvls

    This is such a great game, and if u dont like just dont make a post to say "this game is boring" coz its worthless

    In every game is harder to get high lvl, so i dont know  why u complain

    Its not that boring you just dont know what to do, and besides the game's really more of a break from all of the other MMO's crapy community for me than an actual full time MMORPG. You just have to know how many hours you want to put into this game and when you find that perfect spot, this game wont seem half bad after all. Trust me.

    Personally I like maple story, sure there lvling is a bit tedious but still its enjoyable and i got to lvl 30 before i stop playing but not because it was boring, just cuz  i wanted to spend more time playing other games

    I think its an Realy Good Game! It might be borin to you becuse you arnt makein ant Friends in there? Just have a Rival Makes it Fun as it is! And besides For an Free Game It has a vary good Costrmer support and injoyable

    I better prefer games where level isn't all... where u need also skill that's why I'm in love with the new generation of MMO/FPS :D

    It has nothing to do with being boring because you don't know what to do, it's because all you do is the same old thing with no real end reward.  So what you hit level 30 good job!  Now you got 40 more levels to go.   Wow level 70 good work, now you need to get up to level 120.  Now that you're level 120 only 79 more levels to go!  Wow level 299, don't you feel special!  I hope you enjoyed wasting 4 years of your life, now all thats left to do is show off your level and chat on Maple Story.

    No, I just gave an example of a shallow MMORPG.  MMORPG concept was based on exploring a big world with friends, not just about leveling and item collecting.  Look at Ultima Online, this was one of the greatest examples of what MMORPG's should of been.  Maple Story doesn't even have PVP, Guild Vs Guild or anything there.  Games like Ragnarok are far ahead of Maple Story, so I don't even consider Maple Story a real MMORPG.  Half the time you level solo until 3rd class, it's just lame.  I would rather play Minesweeper and that game is just horrible and boring.

    lol yea i understand you were trying to make a refers to the make up of an MMORPG, but in all honesty I seen many people play MMORPG's with the sole purpose of lvling. In that sense the gamers themselves make MMORPGs the lvling grind feast that they complain about, and as for RAgnorak it was fun, but it's worth pointing out that Ragnorak is a pay to play game so maybe not for everyone.

    Adding the comment that also this game was directed for all ages so it isent going to be gory or voilent really. A lot of what Maple Story depends on social skills, bassicaly they want you to talk and interact with ppl. And ask for the grinding, all MMO's have there grinding some way or another even my god MMO Guild Wars, its just the fact of MMO's that no one, including me, wants to face.

    This game is great if you want repetitive action for hours on end. I'm a level 89 Sin with NX Cash. I personally wouldn't call this the best the horrible grinding. I only play because my friends have some real crappy computers and can't really play anything else. All it needs is a PVP system and fast leveling.

    You made it to lvl 89, and your complaining about the grind. Thats amazing I must admit I would figure somebody would realize if they like the game or not by lvl 30, and  You say your friends have really crappy computers, so I'm assuming that the one you have is really good, yet you continue to play the game just because they do, wow.



    I agree with the game needing a pvp system, and as for fast lvling am all for it.
