Not running properly after updates

I started the game last night and it loaded 88 updates.  After it loaded the updates I started the game.  The initial screen displays then I can hear the game sounds in the background but I am not getting a display.  I tried running the game in 1024x768 and 1280x1024 but the game would run but no video display.  All of my other games are showing a display.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks

    Graphics errors like that are typically a result of an out-of-date graphics driver, so you should go to the website of your video card and ensure that you have the latest drivers.

    Thanks for the info.  It was determined that my card is bad.  I am now without a video card and will not be playing for a couple of months.   Hope to see all on line soon.
