Ok, here's something different.



 List a type of role playing you would like to try in EVE. But here's the twist, it can't be related to the EVE storyline. Try bringing in some other sci-fi theme and make it work within the game.

    "Just another ordinary day. Adjusting a local cargo adjustment I just added onto my Relic. For some strange reason the overdrive isn't working, perhaps the extra weight is affecting it more than I anticipated initially. A few more adjustments to increase the boost capability might cross out the cargo extension. There has to be another way.... Perhaps.... No, it can't be that easy."

    I've been trying to think of  a way to incorporate the Firefly world into EVE. Which ship would best represent the Firefly?

    Yeah Mini ships are the best adaptation for Firefly for any independent ships. Caldari fit the Alliance mold?



    And how would you adapt Farscape to EVE?

    I thought we were going with an own story, not based on some other Scifi. lol



    Aiming to that, the Amarrian Freighter looks like the Rebel Transports of Star Wars. :p

    an angry blob/gelatinous race... who find the pod technology quite compatible with their bodies.

     

    but if you want to incorporate existing sci-fi -- stargate.  especially once folks get out of the pods.

    could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?

    For firefly it would probably be the Gallante cruiser Exequror.

    "The Exequror is a heavy cargo cruiser capable of defending itself against raiding frigates, but lacks prowess in heavier combat situations. It is mainly used in relatively peaceful areas where bulk and strength is needed without too much investment involved."

    Or possible the Minmatar frigate Probe. Size wise it fits better but description and function wise the exequror fits better.

    "The Probe is large compared to most Minmatar frigates and is considered a good scout and cargo-runner. Uncharacteristically for a Minmatar ship, its hard outer coating makes it difficult to destroy, while the limited weapon hardpoints force it to rely on fighter assistance if engaged in combat."

    Both of these have large initial cargo space and a 5% cargo space per level bonus.
