Howard Stern Helping America Out??

Is Howard Stern doing the US a favor by casting a negative light on American Idol?  I can't stand watching this show when it gets "serious" and I would not mind seeing this go away.  I dislike "reality TV" anyways and this would be a big blow to it.  I think it is funny that he still has the pull to do something like this.  I guess that is why he gets paid the amount he does by satlite radio.

He is managing to get people to vote for the worst person left on the show and it is working.  Do you guys think he can get the worst guy the crown or do you think American Idol will be saved?

    As much as I would love to see it,it wont happen.Producers will probaly put a end to it before Sanyaya or w/e makes the final 3.

    I don't like the show at all once they get into the "good singers"  but Howard Stern and co are messing with the futures of these people who are just trying to make it in a very difficult business..and that's not cool...if they don't like the show then they don't have to watch it, and they can encourage their viewers to not watch it, but what they are doing is childish.

    Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

    I agree totally with your point on this...as much as I dislike the show and the type of music it promotes,  peoples futures should not be crushed based on a joke.  Good call on this one Draenor.

    I don't listen to the guy but are you referring to his mention of the website used to encourage voting for the worst candidate?  If so, that site was already doing significant damage to Idol over the last few years.  The Pickler girl made it a long way from that site's endorsement.



    I think Stern just hopped on a wave that was already getting bigger.  I am sure that his ego will push him to claim total credit for the movement though.

    I saw some idiot lawyer on a news show claiming that what Stern was doing was illegal because he was interfering with the rights of a business to operate successfully. She said that his organized efforts to sabotage the show were criminal.

    I could care less about the show, who wins etc. People have the right to suggest others don't  patronize a business or buy a product as long as they don't slander. The system is designed for anyone to vote any dopy way they want to.

    I don't know I don't watch alot of TV, especially not that kind of show, but I always thought that the votings were probably fake anyways.

    Howard Stern sucks, but American Idol sucks even more.

    Why am I the only one who doesnt think Howard Stern is funny? I usually love shock humor, but he just isnt funny... he's just a pig.

    Stern is a tard.  The only people I have known that listened to him were all male, grew up on him, and are now 30-40 somethings that still go by their high school nicknames.

    Count me as one of those who don't find him funny.  I remember watching his show on TV when I was younger just so I could see blurred out women, that was after they took Benny Hill off the air of course.  But like I said he's not that funny.

    I didn't think Benny Hill was funny, either.
