Worth Playing....again?

I had a level 60 Mage and got bored of the game cancelled my account and sold it to a friend.  Every once in a while I get the craving to play an MMO and so far nothing has really come out that has caught my eye.  Would this game be worth playing through again?  How is the community? How is blizzard?  Has there been much content/improvements made to the game?

Thanks

Drew

Heh, I guess that could be important.  I quit because I was tired of the end-game and most of my friends were quitting.  Now a couple of them want to start back up again.  Also I quit about a year to a year and a half ago.

If you like even more faction grinding than before, same end game and PvP stuff, and even more immature players I would say go for it. If not  Iwould pass.

You are talking about end game I assume?  I plan on never getting to 60 again mostly do 1-40/50 and then more than likely I would never want to play again.

So you would do the same old quests a dozen times on multiple characters? Just to quit when you get to 40-50?

Nope, I've never played several races, especially horde, and once I got to 40/50 once I would be done forever because some new games come out in the fall and I doubt I'd ever even have the desire to play WoW again.

I tried the game at the urge of a friend. it was my first ever MMPROG. I have seen that there are alot of immature jerks (but I have only played alliance). So why pay to just do same old quests? Try a different game is my thought. LOTR is coming out soon, there is Vanguard, and others.

Alright, because of you, I'm going to try the LOTR:O beta test April 6th, I hope it's good.

If the biggest reason u quit was because of boring endgame content, well... Not much point in returning then. The endgame content is pretty much the same and will probably be the same as long as WoW will keep on. If the biggest reason was ur friends, then it's not a hard decision is it?

The community is pretty much the same... I think the community is very nice, but it seems like no1 else agrees with me.

The game is still pretty much the same kind of game as before and will probably keep on being so.

WoW had not realy move on in the last year, PvP has got better, new talents/skills, dungeons etc.

But many forget the reason WoW has not chnaged from its roots is because it does not need too, would you start to make big changes to the game if your game was pulling 8million subs and still growing?

Other games make big changes, take VG:SoH at the moment, big changes happening there (and only 3 months old) but only becuase of a poor subscription rates.
