Please give us some more info on the virus we got from your website this morning, like what it's capable of (in its present form) or if it already did something malicious before McAfee removed it. I am finding it impossible to remove, it just keeps coming back every time the computer is re-started. :-/ And this is my work computer that is infected here... can the trojan steal sensitive information?

You didn't get this so called "virus" from mmorpg.com, stop looking at donkey porn that would help.

Yes I did and they have also admitted it already.  It came from a banner ad, my virus scanner went crazy the moment I first opened the front page of this website, it just didn't stop the file from getting on my disk.

No you didn't, clicking on an ad takes you to the ad's site therefore, you did not get the virus from mmorpg.com. Banner ad or not you didn't have to click it, it was your choice, therefore your fault.

No, he did get the virus from our site.  We have been attacked by a source in Korea that is modifying our web pages.  There have been a few different viruses installed, to our knowledge all of them exploit the windows ANI file venerability.

To be 100% clear, this virus did not originate form ads at all, the hackers actually have placed the script inside our HTML pages.

We are working around the clock to a) remove all new instances and b) stop the attacks all together.

Great, but right now a lot of people would probably like to get some certainty on what these trojans are capable of. Antivirus websites are saying that the image is only what transmits the file and the file then just steals passwords for Lineage 2 and Legends of Mir, but there's some differences (like file names) that lead me to not take that at info at face value. I got the trojan on my work computer, which was then removed by McAfee (not even one second between entering your front page and getting the McAfee warning), but the very fact that it still got into my file system, and McAfee seems to be trying to re-delete it every time I re-start, implies something else might have happened during that fraction of a second as well. I would very much like to know what, as would my employer. :-/
