    Haha well I never expected beta this soon, now that I am signed up and one of the firsts to do that (thanks to you). I have a pretty decent chance of getting in (hopefully).

    Well im a complete novice at stuff like this and despite signing up for Beta left adn right have yet to be selected for one

    just hope my beefed up rig gets me in with a chance to Beta this :)

    My guess would be a week or two from April 2nd. They need enough time to process the applications and allow for a good number of them to come in. Otherwise, we don't know. I'll pass along any information I get if someone else hasn't already.

    Also bear in mind they mentioned that they would be hosting it in several stages, if you don't get in for the first, you might in the second.

    I was wondering what the most important criteria generally is for getting accepted into closed beta. Im not an officer of a guild or anything like that, Ive only played a handful of MMO's in the poast (certainly not as many as some of the people here), but my rig is very much a top end machine, and I applied extremely quickly after the signup opened. In your guys opinions is that the sort of candidate that might get selected for CB, or do you think they are really looking for someone who has more MMo experience and a high position in a big guild etc ?

    They will try to get different people, some with bad specs, some with good ones and some in the middle. Ofcourse it helps if you are an officer but the only thing you can do now is hope :)

    I am sure they will definately let a large variation of people in. According to the newsletter they are going to be having a technical and a general beta running at the same time so that should be interesting. Is it October yet?!?!?!

    Thaks alot for the link. Hopefully I will get in, but it seems pretty poor atm. Not member of a guild, or any fansite, haven't played many MMORPGs as some here and my computer isn't the best. I'll hope I'm just fawkin lucky, which I never am... but sometime must be the first, right?
