What about ingame economy?

Is there any? Also, I heard of different types of bases that is associated with resources, can someone explain this to me? Finally, did they get rid of some of the lag in PS (I heard a lot of this before)?

    Economy? What economy? What would there be to trade? I guess about the most economy you get out of planetside are secret alliances between members of opposing empires, so that they can swap weapons (such as the jackhammer image). But anyway, by controlling some bases your empire can get benefits.
