  Everyone if we can mass together and just start asking for it we will get it. In my opinion the .hack series and games acuratly describes what an mmo should be liked. In my eyes its terriibly close to being perfect. And if we just keep asking for it game developers will eventually give it to us. So lets keep this thread on top of the boards and feel free to copy and paste it to more forums if you want lets get the word out there for what we want!



 p.s. If you don't like the way the game is don't flame just leave :P and by that I don't mean .hack I mean the concept behind the world

    If I would get a dollar for each thread that holds the title .hack mmo, I would be rich right now.



    And to each of those threads, I give the same answer. if you take away the storyline, then what do you have left? I'll explain: Endless, repetive dungeon runs.

    No look at it like this......they don't give you stories they give you the tools to create them.....

    yeah, i kinda see the same thing gameloading does. What made the .hack games great (and i only played .hack /sign), was the characters, and the Illusion that i was in an MMO. As a real MMO, i dont think it would hold the same flavour.

    I have to disagree there, for me, what makes .hack interesting is not the characters or storyline but the general aura and feeling of the world itself. I have yet to find a mmorpg that gives off a feeling that makes me feel as if it the game itself is reality (found 2 games like that but were both single player, lost track of time thinking I was part of the game....-_-).



    I would like a .hack mmorpg as long as it has stuff other than just fighting and dungeon running.....maybe bards, dancers, merchants, various things....etc....

    Well are we talking about .hack "The World" or just as a game it is? Cause I love the game the story is amazing. I know .hack G.U. was amazing improvement on the original. I think they'd have to make it just like the way they portray "The World" with PKs and PPKs. Not to mention "The World" has story in itself which I never really read.
