If you dont enjoy Vanguard are you planning on trying Dark Age of Camelot?

I just bought the game with 5 expansions in the same box and I hope that I won't be all alone on the servers

    I enjoyed DAOC many years and bought many later expansions. Still, as all mmorpgs, they get boring after a while. But if you havent tried DAOC you will enjoy it :)

    Tried the 14day trial 2 weeks ago, and was very disappointed in the way it looks, graphics look very dated, but i know many people seem to enjoy the game, i did notice it has some very nice feature's like /talk to NPC, climb ladders, quests seem very decent, but like i said the graphics is what tunred me off. NPC's just facing walls or staring no where, strange horse ride animations, texture of building look awefull, but all this is my personal experiance and is based on a game that is already out there for some time, if the game was a month old i would have given it some more time.

    Nah.... I will wait for Warhammer better than play to DAoC.



    And after Vanguard i will not buy a game without testing it.

    Those screensshoots are taken using the old graphicsengine.

    MxO character? That's a Celt if I'm not misstaking... they have been in the game since 2001 :)

    I tried this game not too long ago but felt I was too late to the party. Yeah, the graphics were fairly dated (even with their increased engines) but they were only one of the thigns that felt dated, which they were, understandably so.

    I really did like the idea that DAoC used in keeping the graphics up. I am dying for the day when WoW boosts up their graphical technology (NO not making it realistic, but taking their gorgeous style to current age technology, etc).

    I'm sorry you felt like you were to late to the party, can't understand why though.

    I'll give everyone who tries the trial to choose the US-Version since the english version servers in EU is currently suffering from extreme underpopulation. The US-version is very much alive and kicking though ,and your first choice when selection a server should be one with the classic ruleset.
