in Lord of the Rings Online
is there more then one faction or is this strictly a PVE game if someone can help me out plz straighten me out here and i hope its not just one faction...

    You got it, buddy. There will be no ganker/PK asshats or insane game destroying class balancing in this game. The only PvP is if you play a monster character (spider, etc.) in designated zones for PvM (Player vs. Monster).

    And I for one rejoice in this fact.

    In some dev discussions there was rumored to be some type of fraction , so only time will tell. For the most part this just the beginning

    Funny thing is that I'm a longtime hardcore PvPer (yup, I was there pre-Trammel)  and yet I couldn't agree more.  I think I'm just starting to get sick of all the baggage associated with it.   The constant balance issues, the asshats, the drama, the attitudes.  It will be nice to have one game that doesn't cater to what I used to consider "my" crowd. 



    Plus, I truly enjoy monster play.  It's different enough to be a little refreshing and this is what the MMORPG industry really needs - more innovation.
