in Lord of the Rings Online
is ugly and boxy.



I know its beta but hope this UI isn't in the game during release.

    After release there will be more playedmaded UI's.

    The game allows for players to make their own UI's if they know how to.

    It is proberly the best UI of all the mmo's I have played, that being said it could be better, but I found it alot better when I turned my resolution up, there is a fansite for UI's already go have a quick look if you havn't already http://www.lotrointerface.com/

    good link, thanks. I like the no bag one and will be installing it tonight. Now if they will just make a simpler morale bar set, with no portrait.

    best interface ever in my opinion was Horizons. Simple, infinite quick slot bars and unobtrusive. That was the best thing about that game.

    No probs, never played Horizons nor even heard of it up until now lol, I agree the portraits definately should have a display on/off option or something like that.

    Does anyone have a UI mod they like the best yet?  I am looking for simplicity.  For me the EQ2 UI is absolutely the best.  Would like something similar.  The WoW-like one in LoTR just does not do it for me.

    The original ui is terrible ugly. Disgusting to be honest. I really hope there is someway to remove the textures or replace them, if not I don't think I will be playing long. It honestly looks like some amateur skinned the ui, and the colors are just



    And the player made textures so far seem to apply the same ugly taste.

    So far this is the best default UI I've seen in an MMO to date.  I mean they actually made it open all your bags at once WITHOUT a UI mod!  I imagine there will be many improvements as it seems the devs actually care what players think at least for now.  Hopefully they don't come down with Dev Arrogance Syndrome.

    The UI still needs some work.

    They really need to work on the scaling.



    Look here from this screenie i found on the EU forums how much the UI fill if you play on lower resolution.

    Radar is to huge.

    Raidbars takes  up way to much room.



    When you then try to turn up your resolution your toolbars and chatwindow becomes to small.





    Scaling Turbine,,scaling.
