ok so like so many people on mmorpg.com... i'm bored... with all the games out right now.. i played lineage 2 for about a year and a half quit it and then went back for 6 months... then got into wow played for about a year and a half now... and i'm bored... i'm really looking forward to WAR and Chronicles of Spellborn... but i can't wait until they come out seeing as i don't believe either of them has set a real realease date... any suggestions of what to play until then...

Not sure what to recommend to you personally... I am not really impressed with much of what is out there.

I am personally waiting for Pirates of the Burning Sea... and I am in the open beta for LoTR. If you get into the LoTR open beta, that starts Friday and lasts til the 24th, I believe.

I'm in the same boat. I'm very bored with mmorpgs right now. I went on a short vacation, came back and had no desire to log onto EQ2 again. I had so many quests to "clean up" that it started to feel like a chore... subscribed to vangaurd (still am) and can't even run that game on my current rig.
I have had fun with:
Supreme commander (although the frame rates are so bad even on low settings that it runs more like a turn based strategy game!)
Command & Conquer 3 (absolutely stunning graphics and it runs fantastic on my elderly computer.
I've also been spending alot of time researching computer parts and systems as I am ready to replace my current one.

Search for "bored" and you get pages of results in this forum alone.
It makes you wonder what MMORPG designers must be thinking right now. I saw a post made earlier today where the poster hypothosised that the next cool MMORPG would appear in 2009 when people got bored of WoW and the clones.
I can't wait that long! lol
And no - I can't design one myself so yeah I'll shut up and blame myself for the entire tragedy unfolding....
when are mmo's gonna realize that the money is not going to be around much longer unless they make their games amazing... things are getting better and better in mmo's it just hit horizontal line right now where nothings changing... hopefully some of these new games are going to not only want our money but also deliver what they say they are... and then they will have our loyalty not just a one time 50 dollars and a canceled account days after purchase...

Was so dead set on VG but after all the bad reviews and short commings i steered way clear and wont bother in 6 month even if it gets better. I like to get in when a game is released Particualy if it has PvP with a rewards system...(which i think stink BTW)
Daoc for example if u cant devote 60 hours a week to pvp your fodder for the 2000 pound slobs who live in there parents basement and havent see the light of day since the games release 5 years ago.....
Hopefully my invite for AoC will come thru and give me something to do also winning 29 superbowls in a row in madden 07 is getting tiresome
i dont know much to play right now either i have been working on some of my xbox games
However, there are a few hopefuls being released soon.
