assassin/mes - the ultimate caster killer?

I know mes by itsself gives casters problems but are ass/mez considered ultmate in caster slaying?

    Assassins do just fine taking down casters without any secondary at all, actually.

    And the Mesmer skills you have in mind probably would only see minimal use as the assassin needs quite a large chunk of the skill bar for the combos and teleports that are truly needed. But, I figure an extra interrupt skill couldn't hurt.

    It depends on the skills you have/use.

    A/me are mostly signet spikers.., god they are annoying. Signet spike kills everything.

    I haven't ever head of a 'signet spiker' but I do see A/Me using Fragility. Gets really nasty

    Well, I like broad head arrow with apply poison for a caster killer.. Dazed pwns casters..

    the other day i was using the Warrior headbutt/plague touch combo versus casters/monks.. that pwns as well.. headbutt is 15 nrg though.  For pve I've made my Magrid the sly all interupts.. works really well as a ra/me to add leachsig, power drain on top of savage shot, debiitating etc.

    Doesn't look all that impressive to me tbh... I guess one should try it personally O_o but I still see no reason to run it over the standard BoA Shadow Prison.

    That build can knock out a BoA Sin. I faced on in Hero Battle arena, and he kicked my sin's ass.
