Actually, that's not a fair question, you know?

You can say certain MMORPG is the best in the whole world, but then, someone just come and tell you he hate it.

So, there's no need to especify as better, but as most fun - at least, for the self one.

Well, the one that I spent most time - Tibia. You can kill me for it, but I still think it's a game. After that, UO.

I would say City of Heroes/Villains since it's been a mainstay on my PC for over 2 years now.  Other games came and went but I always came back to Paragon City.

Yeah I'd have to agree with Jotus. Different games are good in different ways. Some have good pvp or pve, role-play or crafting system, instancing. It all depends on what are you looking for in a game. Well I personally don't like any of games much that are out there atm. And I think there is room for great improvement. But out of the games that I have played WoW, GW and EVE are one the best out there today.

I dont really think ya can just price a game the best mmorpg, but in my opinion it would have to be SwG pre-CU. Besides that I dont see any mmorpg right now worth that title to be honest. :)

    SWG Pre-CU.

But an mmo u can play right now, I have to say FFXI. I currently am not playing this anymore, because I just don't have the time, but if you have a lot of time on your hands, this game has SO MUCH CONTENT. You can do so much stuff its damn near endless. And thats something no one can disagree on.

First off im going to name all the mmos that I have played.  EQOA, SWG, COH, Lineage2, DAOC, GuildWars, WoW, Anarchy Online,RYL,Saga of Ryzom,RF Online, EQ2, The Matrix Online, Auto Assault,Scion of Fate, Rangnarok online.... I think that is about it.  However I think that SWG, EQOA, Lineage2, RF Online are among my favorites SWG rocked back in the day before Combat Upgrade. Yet I think that if you combine all the mmos above you will have one badass mmorpg ^^

I'm still holding high expectations for Darkfall. But I was a pretty huge fan of AO, and Planetside

i like scions of fate a lot .why cause everybody in the family can play it .that is a big plus in my book.2 i would give it to guild wars cause frankly in pvp they got a lot and more now with the 1vs1 auto tournament going on in may.this will be popular .

I have to say, City of Villains is my favorite.  I mean, really, you get to be the bad guy, and win!  What can beat that?

Well since Darkfall isn't out yet.....

I'll have to go with WOW.

Simply because playing a rogue on WOW never felt so much fun for the first 1-60 time. (and the only one I ever levelled to 60!) Hell,I bet it's still as good to play one today. And I haven't played many MMORPG classics, like Everquest/UO/AC/Anarchy,etc.

The PvE was solid. Nothing like laughing at your party as they need to clear through an entire mine of mobs to kill one boss, while you can simply stealth through, kill the boss, vanish and then stealth out.  They even upped the difficulty of said stealth missions later on; rogue stealth missions in WOW are practically a game within themselves! And of course, experiencing guild instance runs for the first time (and so many afterwards) were so fun. Stealth run anyone?

The PvP (as a rogue) was so much fun. Gank people from behind. Battlegrounds; appear in the middle and activate the Eranikus gas cloud trinket, see how many people you could get in one move.  And nothing like beating on an epic-geared bully who is trying to kill someone 10 levels lower than them with stunlocks and annoying dps. Rogues are the kings of WOW; you can't do a thing about them, until you see them.....mwhahha!

Ever since coming off WOW,I've loved the rogue class but sadly no other MMO has yet to offer a good rogue-like class,or in general an enjoyable class to play as the WOW rogue. Vanguard came close (and even the handy feature of stealth-looting your enemies),but the fact that other players could see you even in stealth from miles away removed the fun aspect. (that and VG sucked balls) Rappelz kahuna is not bad,but nothing as close as the WOW rogue.

So that's my best MMORPG....for now. When Darkfall comes out it will probably be my new favourite. Roll on Darkfall!

SWG-Per-CU it was the way a MMORPG was ment to be.
