Any FFA PVP servers eh?

I know they have factions... but I would like for maybe 1 FFAPVP server.

    doubt it remeber doacs ffa pvp server, was fun for about 2 weeks :)

    FFA is harmless to implement cause it will be on its own server, and Mordred did not get lame after 2 weeks... it only got lame when the population dropped to about 80. Kinda like how RvR got weak when the normal servers pop dropped by about 50%.

    The game is based on RvR (not PvP), so what would be the point of FFA other than chest-thumping griefers?

    MMOs Played: EQ 1&2, DAoC, SWG, Planetside, WoW, GW, CoX, DDO, EVE, Vanguard, TR

    It would be interesting to see if anything ever got done on a FFAPVP server.  It seems that kind of ruleset would be counter productive for both sides.

    Im a big fan of ffa PvP, but mythic would just have to spend way to much time adopting the game for that kind of PvP to make it fun.

    If the PvP system was just about random encounters and freeform play, then an FFA server would be interesting.  However, the PvP in WAR is based around RvR, and highly structured RvR at that.  An FFA server in such a game would be counter-intuitive.

    I dislike FFA, but I accept that others have different playstyles.  That's why I usually support PvP, FFA, and RP specific servers for most MMOs.  However, PvP and FFA servers just wouldn't make sense in regards to WAR.  Maybe a couple RP servers, for those people that hate ooc chat and want strict(er) name filters.
