First of all, it does work fine with Vista. I don't know, maybe someone has experienced some problems, but I personally can see no difference playing EQ2 with Vista compared to Windows XP. You can install the game onto your new computer, but of course you won't be able to play simultaneously on two computers unless you have two accounts. In fact, the disc itself means nothing, you could've downloaded the client from the Internet, it's the number of accounts that matters.

thanks, the only thing im worried about really is the key you have to type in - will the same key work or will i have to get a new key or will i be able to skip that somehow?

Keep in mind its a very long download if you do it from the client but worth it if its cheaper.

You only type in the key during the registration of a new account (or when you subscribe to a new game with an existing account). So it goes like this on the new computer - you install the game, then you're asked your login and password, you type them in and play. No need to type in the key again whatsoever.

Oh, and it's not cheaper to download the game (well, maybe by a very little). Because you actually pay for a new account, not for the box itself. So if you order a digital download, you still pay them $40, only you don't get a fancy manual and such.

Check these two links if you don't believe me:

So if you have an opportunity to order a box, it's generally more convenient.
