They had it at E3... but it's by NCSoft, not ArenaNet.
So it's more like the makers of Lineage/2.
It was a very console feeling game... the sort of game I'd hook up my Gamepad to play instead of the keyboard/mouse.

I played it for a couple days. Didn't enjoy it much as I remember. I recall massive lag and bugs as my main gripe. I know its in beta but come on. Might give it a go again later today and report back.
--------------- Tested over a 115+ games since 1997.
I didn't find it all that special. its not an mmorpg, its an online game. you pick rooms (like in Gunz, Rakion, Gunbound etc) and you just fight either other people or NPC's. Its not that special, it really is a lot like Gunz. Imo, although its graphics are better, Gunz and Rakion are much better
Exteel open beta should start any day now. Closed beta has been closed for about a month.
Like others have said previously, Exteel is not really an MMO. Unless things have changed since closed beta, the maximum game size was 16 players. 8 players per side. So, think of Exteel as a 3rd person shooter, where you can customize your Mech with skills, equipment, and weapons. You meed in a lobby, search for a game of 4 different types such as: Last stand (players protect bases from npc attackers), Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Territory Control (team game to capture all the bases on the map while fighting the other team).
It is a fun game but do not expect it to be as polished as the western market shooters.

I'll pass on that one, I prefer western Mechs anyway as in the sig.
