    They said it wasn't going to be another FF. Maybe Kingdom Hearts type MMO.

    I doubt it would be Kingdom Hearts, seeing everyone with keyblades would suck.

    Maybe they will finally continue the Chrono series?

    Do you possibly mean Fantasy Earth: Domion of the Ring?   Square announced  this one a few years back. They intended to bring this one to north america after a a sucessfull japanese launch.  However after releasing in Japan, the game tanked huge and it was sold to another company that just relaunched it yet again.     I know they said it wasn't going to be another final fantasy game, but they say a lot of things.

    I bet they will release Final Fantasy XI-2 within a couple years...

    My hopes are on Dragon Warrior (also known as Dragon Quest) series based MMO. While the FFs have all gone downhilll since optical media Dragon Quest have kept getting better. Also there is talk of SE trying to get rid of POL dependancy. Cobine that with the mention of at least one Vist/360 exclusive and the possibility of a live only platform MMO seems possible. Most of the FF fan base is on the PS3, so another series would probably be a better idea for a 360/pc only MMO.
