  Well I do most of my exploration in 0.0 and it varies from day today. Some days you will spend 5 - 6 hours and earn nothing. Others you will spend the same amount of time and earn 1 - 2 bil, so it varies.

  My advice to you is if you plan to do it seriously, get covert ops; make sure to get rigs that decrease scan time and get all the skills that decrease scan time to 4. Your scan time will be about 175 seconds; which is semi-acceptabe. Sometimes it takes 10 - 15 scans to make initial contact; with base time of 600 seconds per scan you will be there a very very very long time. If you have two accounts like I do use one for dedicated scann and the other is a char that can actually do the plex.  Having hacking and archeology skills is highly recomended since that is where most of the money is.
