You can register yourself for free on Fileplanet and you can download it on the public servers. Only thing is that you gonna have to wait in line (1 hour or so) before starting the download.

I would hold tight tho cause with these types of things the subscribers get it first be within a week or two it becomes public

probably be free for all in a few week's time.It is worth a try to see for yourself.If anything look at the pretty graphics its breath taking espically if you have a rig that can carry it full setting.Atm i still think its the best graphics in mmorpg of all the released games despite it been one year old.
Sadly pretty pictures don't make a good game but i advise everyone to have a go and see for yourself.
I played SWG through 6 proffesions and to be honest by that time i was so sick of the game i was just logging in for the sake of friends in the game one morning i just couldnt bring myself to log on. Sure do the free trial I doubt many will do it and pay after though.
The main problem with SWG is after you try it its not really that appealing to star wars fans you have to really love the game set up and play to keep going.
On the plus side there are many good people playing the game youll meet alot of nice people wich is always a rare and good thing ito come across in MMORPG's.
One suggestion is go medic then doctor for your first proffesions doctors can make a million credits in a few hours by buffing if you choose the right server ^_^

I've always wanted to check out SWG but didn't want to buy it in the first place because the reviews have been kind of biased. 14 days will sure be enough to decide whether I like it or not.
