Need some help remembering a free MMORPG MUD I used to play.

Was about 3 or 4 years ago now, and it was client based. There was this little map in the top right corner which was just little coloured squared, and you moved around with the little buttons names N, S, E, W etc. Then when you came across an item or monster it came up in the dialogue. Basically it was like a more advanced form of a MUD. I cannot for the life of me remember WTF it was called. It used to be an awesome game - but I have looked around on the internet, gone through all the games on the free MMO's on Wiki, and cannot find it anywhere. Anyone have any ideas?

    That could be any of a number of MUDs, but try www.mudconnect.com.  It has a huge listing of MUDs, and you can view the GUI MUDs in their own list (from your description, it sounds like you are looking for a MUD with a GUI).  You could give the list a lookover and see if anything rings a bell.



    I haven't played a MUD myself in years, but good luck with your search.

    I dont suppose it was Revelation: Lands of Kaldana, the block map thing you mentioned rang a bell.

    yep, that was the one - great to finially find it again, can go for a walk down memory lane!
