My friend was walking through the wetlands, With 3 priests with him. He was a lvl 10 Hunter
He went up to some lvl 36 Monster and starte Taming it. So the priests and to keep healing him
He made it. Then we went everywhere just to showoff lol. A lvl 10 with a lvl 36 pet. He was also able to elevel really fast!

You can not tame a pet that is a higher level than you.
The game will give you the standard splash warning in red letters "You are not high enough level to do that."
Please don't think this has not been tried, because it has.
Besides, I've yet to tame a pet when anyone else interfered at all, including heals.
