Does any one know if they will be doing an open beta or a free trial (after release).
So i can test if my rig will handle it think it should just like to check before i buy.
If my rig can take it i will get the came as its the best looking MMORPG i have seen for a long time.
Its new different from all the others so i will be a big hit bring on the summer

Pentium 4 3.40GHz
1GB or ram
RADEON X600 graphics card
So i can test if my rig will handle it think it should just like to check before i buy.

and Where can i get a beta key?
This game looks awsome the only 2 problems I have with it are this :
no large scale warfare which was this time period (though i hear they might be implementing this on later so not too mad about it)
and the wait i cant wait i have COH/COV Auto Assault SWG and WoW
I quit all of them now I am begging a mmorpg unless I should get back to COH? I dunno I just want to play a new game.

Your rig should be able to handle it..though I'd expect some frame lag with only 1gig of ram. You've gone all out and gotten a top of the line pentium chip and a nice card might as well add on that one last gig to make it all run smooth.
(I dont know what your FSB is on your mother board but as long as its 800Mhz i'd say your good to go for open beta, games don't usualy do a free trial at launch other than the free 30 days if you buy the game (isn't sure which you meant)

The large scale battles they're planning will be nation vs nation, or rvr. As they add new nations, they will also add that nations myths, armor, weapons, gear, etc. Their overall plan, is to add enough nations to have a world map that is contested over, sort of like a turn based strategy game. So far, they already have Egypt and Barbarians planned for near after launch.

Make of that what you will, but as Badchef has already pointed out, one of the core testers seems to be having good results on a mid level system.
With regards to open beta, the devs announced recently that they were still aiming for an early to mid summer open beta.
Still speculation though. Nothing official
I think the biggest competitor would be Age of Conan.
Anyway, I think an open beta will come to early summer with the launch date somewhere in july.
Hope PotBS is good enough to entertain me for a month or 2

ATI 9600pro 128MB
80GB Hard drive 7200rpm (you will need 10GB free space)
They also told me the lastest system they ran it on was a Pen 3 1.7Ghz 1G of RAM, and a ATI 9700 128MB, and it ran just fine. Even though they would not reccomend the Pen 3, or anything in or around 1.7Ghz.
