    lol, no i didnt join them if i did i probably wouldnt be here now. The legion are basically a bunch of mercs, they used to operate outside of the government and could basically do as they please, ruthless bunch though.  A mate told me that when you joined you joined for a set period of say 15 years if you tried to go awol before that they would hunt you down and eliminate you.

    A lot of that is myth though, one truth though is that if you enlist and serve 5 years you automatically become a french citizen. A lot of people join to escape something (like crims for example)

    Good money to be had though and ex legionaires are very well off now.
