Your Dream Game. :)

Just try the game and you will see.  Haters abound in this forum and one can only wonder why they keep posting complaints and whines after another... so many "this game sux" posts over and over again... I would have to ask.. why do you even post here then?  Why even visit this game's forum if you are hating it so much?  Quit and play something else.

No matter... this is THE dream game and I don't care how many people keep flaming and whining and crying.  It is very comical to read all the haters' replies... it is better than comedy central.

So keep up with your hate posts and give me some laughs and entertainment.

VG for the win!  VG pwnz all. ^_^

    Unfortunatly (maybe fortunatly?)   I have not had the chance to try Vanguard.   I would really like to honestly just to see what its all about.

    With all the "this game sux" threads Id really rather try befor I buy it.  Ill have to wait for a free trial handout in a while or try to get someone to give me their buddy key.  *wink* *Wink*

    I never bought in to the whole viral marketing conspiracy, and will never consider you a viral marketer, OP. But this is no compliment, you simply lack the finesse for such a job, and your goals are clear, you think hater swill jump on your statement and call you names ... etc, etc. You confuse the two groups however, it is the hardcore fans who usually deal with us in the very mature :fu and go back to WoW way, whilst most of us argue, thus the reaction you so cleverly though out will not be there on our part.

       Nope, this is not my dream game at all.  It has tons of glitches, runs horrible, has tons of crashes, is affiliated with SOE, has unbalanced classes (see Disciple), was rushed into release according to lots of rumors, and it seems the developers aren't taking into account any player concerns.  Did I mention none of my friends play anymore?  Yes, that should be added to the list too...

       I really liked Vanguard at first, or at least, before it was released. *_*  Boy was I dumb.  But no one who actually has a life outside this game will like it.

       Oh, and I have a question for you, Hero5937GX.  How much is Sigil paying you?

    Save yourself the money and the headache and do not try the game.  Even if the game was finished, which it is far from being, it is such a tired and tedious rehash of the glory days of EverQuest and all the MUD's that came before it.  If you love grinding, technical bugs, content bugs, lots of tedious task quests that make you run back and forth for no apparent reason other than to waste your time, then this is the game for you.  You'll love the huge, but empty world when you leave the civilized areas.  The forced grouping and raid centric gameplay.  Why leave the game you're playing now, only to start all over in Vanguard with nothing more innovative than a silly card game they call diplomacy.  Maybe a year down the road or longer, when they finally implement ship to ship combat and mounted combat, they might offer something a little different, but I highly doubt that will be enough to offset the tedious grind the game becomes after level 15. 

    With PvE raiding, it has never been a question of being "good enough". I play games to have fun, not to be a simpering toady sitting through hour after hour of mind numbing boredom and fawning over a guild master in the hopes that he will condescend to reward me with shiny bits of loot. But in games where those people get the highest progression, anyone who doesn't do that will just be a moving target for them and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay money for the privilege. - Neanderthal

    Yeah, add one of their long term goals as well: making helmets visible. Such a laugh, I bet their life will be complete when they achieve their long term goal :))
