in Age of Conan: Unchained
Usually when MMO's are first released there tends to be a mass ammount of a certain class, which is this one?

    I am going for priest but tbh (and no offence btw) this poll is very limited because even within the general paths the classes seem to differ greatly. Id suggest you make a poll with each class listed instead that way you get a basic idea of what people will go for. I expect soldier path to be popular due to the gameplay inovation, but even then theres a difference between a conqueror and a guardian etc etc.

    Im going with rogues beacuse i expect there is going to be an extreme amount of barbarins in this game

    Slight problem with that, you can only have 10 polls and there is 14 different classes

    Druid of the Storm <3 and probably an Assassin as my second character. If i love the game to bits which I fully expect to happen, Im probably going to have at least one character from each sub-class. Herald of Xotli looks fun!

    This is actually the only MMORPG I've read the class list from and thought "There's no characters here I wouldn't enjoy to play"...



    Blatant praise aside, I'd probably choose a Ranger or Conqueror for my first, depending on the makeup of the "base group" my friends and I always make for this type of game.



    I really hope FunCom pulls it off this time, I was so disappointed with AO back in the day.

    Played so far: 9Dragons, AO, AC, AC2, CoX, DAoC, DF, DnL, DR, DDO, Ent, EvE, EQ, EQ2, FoMK, FFO, Fury, GW, HG:L, HZ, L1, L2, M59, MU, NC1, NC2, PS, PT, R:O, RF:O, RYL, Ryzom, SL, SB, SW:G, TR, TCoS, MX:O, UO, VG, WAR, WoW...
    It all sucked.

    yea im gonna make a barbarian, just cause its a DPS with a 2 handed sword..which is awesome

    I think the Priest would be interesting to play in this world in preticular!

    Especially with all the crazy stuff going on.



    Even if the Priest Class isn't just a Heal bot, it will be interesting.

    I am still waiting for more information before my I decid but Assassin or Guardian are my choices. Might go with a mage class if it interests me enough once they explain more.

    I am going with a bear shaman myself I think. I would go Ranger, but I want a class that isn't a dime a dozen.

    Thank god for RP servers with strict naming policies to filter out not only the leetkiddies, but also the Conanclones

    I expect the rogue class to be rather filled, due to the double whammy of people expecting that region to be the best from past experience and of course the whole barbarian bit.

    Personally, I'll be dancing all over the board. My first and primary character will probably be a Conqueror, simply for the benefits in team combat. For fun though I'll be playing the Herald of Xotli, Druid of the Storm, and Necromancer at the very least.

    I usually start off as a priest healer in most games because there is usually a lack of them and they are highly demanded in groups, which allows them to grow fast and subsequently roll out twinked assassins or whatever .



    Although I will admit that it can be kind of annoying playing the thankless task of healbot for warriors/mages/assassins, allowing them to level up and WTFPWN everything while I sit there clicking on life bars and running for dear life.
