Am I missing something?

in 9Dragons

My highest character is in the middle RC level and I've ran out of things to do. Leveling has turned into a chore, you grind yellow/whites and you get no xp, try orange+ and you get killed. Even last weekends double xp special didn't really make a difference. There are no quests that I can find. I'm inclined to think I have overlooked something, because no game maker would just cut off content like that.

    Maybe you need to lvl up some more, or go to Hefei to see if a quest is available there.  This game has, "on average", one quest per lvl, so if you don't see any quest, it probably means you haven't leveled up enough. 

    Yeah, leveling in 9D past FD is a real chore.  What keeps me going though, is most 9D's quests ultimately lead to some sweet rewards, like a ring with +2 to all attributes or some hat with +80 attk rating, things like that.   That and the fact that 9D is the only MMO letting me play a fist fighter wearing a cool oriental coolie hat, are two reasons keeping me in this game.

    You guys apparently haven't experienced doing hardcore grinding chores. Try grinding in KalOnline or MU Online or Silkroad and see if you still say grinding in 9Dragons is a chore. Personally when I first played 9Dragons, I was just blown away by everything 9Dragons had to offer. Literally BLOWN AWAY and I mean my jaw was drooping the whole time playing. I did not feel like I was grinding at all. I felt I was doing quests, progressing through skills, and achieving higher goals and everything. Instead of making grinding or lvling up in 9Dragons a chore, think positive. Consider the things you are progressing through and gathering as you gain exp. Just consider these things while playing and you will enjoy 9Dragons, have a great time playing, and feel free from chores.

    9D is still BETA!!! Not all the levels are availeable and not all monsters have been seen. There are for sure better, stronger monsters that will give you more exp in the final release. And now one more thing: You get killed by Orange monsters? That's interesting... Never actualy happend to me...

    Come on... Give me a break!
