Never give EU anything

in Lord of the Rings Online

I'm a member of fileplanet have been for many years but when you see the ads saying try LOTRO world tour I was hopeing the EU would be included but no only people from USA and a few other places. though they did have a EU beta place on the site... which I tried to enter but what on earth... it said i'm not a EU player..  UK is where?? it's own little world!

It just gets to me that they seem to treat EU players differently. sorry I  needed to get that of my chest :P

    And thank goodness we have 10-day early start instead of open beta & char transfer...that's too much IMHO. Different policies, see? Europeans were pretty loud in not wanting beta char transfers at all. And I agree.

    Actually, that's a pretty good policy to have wherever you're at.  Mother-in-laws are universally bad drivers

    Would have probably been better if they had one policy for everyone but what's done is done...

    1. Its fair because theres no cap for tomorrows EU beta

    2. It doesn't matter a bit, cause its only 10 days and a video game (reminds me of Cartman freezing himself for 3 weeks to get a Wii)

    3. Don't go with that "head start" crap, the faster you level up, the sooner you get bored, iron rule.

    4. Let's be happy that there ARE localized servers.

    Actually its due to UK not being conquered by Napoleon, one of the things the dude was good at was bringing standardization across the conquered territory. From that point on people drive on the right side in continental Europe. From then on the stuff spread, among the colonies and as a becoming standard. Before that it was according to locals fancy everywhere.

    Actually who on earth cares on which side of the road people drive... If you wanna compare to the US nationwise, you'll eventually lose; but who compares nations after all??? That's like the dumbest thing ever, as if you as an individual would do any different if you were french, dutch, danish or german... *sigh*
