How do I re-subscribe?

in Everquest II
Ok, I signed into the EQ2 loader w/ my old username and pw and it said to reregister, so I went and it asked for my account key. Problem is, I typed my account key in and it said "already registered". What do I do?

    Ok the first time you enter any registration keys from your purchases it will permanently be on the website, just sign in and use your credit or gamecard.

    I just went and checked mine, after typing in the login and password it asks you to subscribe-- click that then another box pops up with all your info on expansions, ect. At the bottom of that box, click edit subscription, there you put in your credit card # and resubscribe:)

    I tried, but it just asks for the account key and when i type it the key doesnt work. I have already subscribed before, im trying to renew.

    I think something is going on on SOE's side.  Your the 4th person I have read who had this problem in the last week.  I would send SOE support a email or call them.

    oh shit I think the reason it wont work is I dont have the game installed on my HDD, my cd's are corrupt and wont install. For me, a shitty account code thing comes up.

    See, my EQ2 account is closed as well, but its still on my pc-- I just went and acted as though I were going to re-start the game, those were the steps it took me through ( in my previous post). Strange it asks for your account key.  It doesnt for me . Sorry cant be of any help:(

    Your CD's being bad has nothing to do with it and neither does it being installed on your hd.  Just have to use the same account you originally used.  But like I said before your like the 4th or 5th person I read about this week with the same problem.



    You can download the games patcher here which will install the game after you log in.  But you have to be able to get your account straightened out first.

    thanks, I had some older EQ2 accounts and they work well when trying to resub, but this latest one which i recently stopped using had all the expansion packs so I dont want to repay for those. Odd, It should have auto-repayed itself as I never canceled, and I did use the account over 1 month after my 30 days shouldve ended. This is all screwed up.

    Keep in mind even if your cds are bad you can install all your expansions whatever you have entered on your account from the free trial client friend.

    Try calling CS or emailaing them or doing live chat... maybe they can help.
