Is this game worth buying? Is it fun?

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
Im thinking of buying a 6 grand computer dual 780mb graphic cards and a dual core extreme processor with 4 gig ram and a phys something to accelerate the graphics with tons of other stuff.  Anyhow would this game be worth playing is the ?  im sure if I scroll back 20 pages I could get this answer I just aint doing that right now.

    If you can afford to blow 6 grand on a pc then what is 50 bucks on a game to find out yourself?

    Who would know if you actually likes pie or not?

    I like the game, worth the monthly costs, worth buying the game.



    But solely uppgrade the computer that a different league.

    But I have atleast one friend that would buy a new computer if he had the money to do it. Just to be able to play this game to starter with, but granted that he will also be able to play other games better.

    There is always if not this game something that demands you to upgrade.

    Buy a two grand computer that will play VG just fine... Get into a nice guild and you'll have alot of fun. With the rest of the money ...donate some to a charity, that way you wont feel completely self indulgent for blowing 6 grand on a computer.

    It's really hard to say if anyones definition of fun would equal or be what you to be considered as fun. Personally  I didn't really find it all that much fun but a lot of folks did and still do. But also be aware that this game really demanding even on high end PC's.  Best suggestion I could offer is to wait for a trial to come out or get a buddy key to see for yourself.

    Is this game better then everquest is another question im asking?  Cause my brother dont play everquest that much anymore but he telling me to get it again.  If he dont play it then why should I play it but I want something thats just as fun if not better to waste my time In.

    OK. I'll play along.



    If you have $6,000 to spend freely, use about $2,300 of it to build yourself a decent computer that can easily play VG, buy the game for $50, then spend the rest of the money on a nice vacation, like a Caribbean cruise or some other package deal. At least then you'll get something more for that money than just a computer.



    Is the game fun? That's an individual answer, and one that only comes from playing the game. But there's no reason to blow six grand on a computer when you can get a great system for a third of that, leaving you a fair amount of money for travel.

    Real life brings repetition and pointlessness too. The only thing real life offers is Great graphics. Its kinda expensive too and way to dependent on the cash shop. Totally pay to win as well. No thank you. Ill stick to my games.

    I don't think it's even worth dropping the $50 down for the game.  Some people do.

    When I was a little girl they still used to send schoolchildren to the corner of the classroom if they had been stupid or naughty. They had to stand on a stool - so everyone could see them - and wear a pointy hat with a big "D" on it. The D stood for Dunce.

    That was a awful mean thing to say im getting 30 grand for a disability settlement but my mom is trying to take it all cause she supported me 3 years but im saying no cause i was on all kinds of gov help that helped me I am spending 6 grand on the computer if thats the only way I can get a cut outa my 30 grand then thats what must be done.  She supported me like 20 grand worth but she owned the house i stayed in and the car i used but over three years thats all she did and I need my computer before i drop the whole 30 grand to her.

    And also i might add it was me going thru all that treatment and me being messed up internally that got me this settlement not her supporting me cause i was disabled due to chemo radiation and surgerys and stuff right.

    For the love of all that is holy this is a games forum, there are forums that you can go to if you want to share your life story but this one is NOT it.

    Look D, it doesnt matter a whit how you came by the money, the point is that to blow $6k on a rig that in all probabilty would not run the game to the relative standard as my $1500 one is stupid. There is no other word. If you do proper research - ie go to the affiliated fansites or better yet the official tech support site - you will discover that those with cutting edge gaming machines suffer as many, if not more, performance issues as those of us with mid-range PCs.

    Now you may touch lucky and run the game flawlessly. HOWEVER NO ONE CAN GUARANTEE THAT. And certainly no one can guarantee that you will enjoy the game.

    If youre going to spend $6k on a PC anyway then the previous posters are correct; you may as well throw the price of a meal into the fray and pick up VG too. If you are only spending $6k in the hope that you will be one of the few who never CTD ever then, although I maybe should have kept that childhood memory to myself, it still feels apt to me.

    Did you just get shipped in from the matrix?  This forum alone has a million pages of positives and negatives (mostly negatives) about the game.

    OMG, they made kids stand on a stool?  Isnt' that kind of dangerous?  I mean it would be bad enough if it were a smart kid standing on a stool, but asking a stupid kid to stand on a stool is just asking for trouble.  I wonder how many dunces had to fall before that policy changed to just sitting in the corner?  That's what they did at my school.
