Hello

I am coming here to ask for a little help. Eight months ago my husband got real sick and was hospitalized. Since this time he has been unable to work due to his illness. He’s been in the hospital again for a few weeks now. Since he’s been unable to work he spends most of his time playing Eve. When he went into the hospital he had arranged for a friend to keep his skills going. My husband asked me to check on his characters skills and there were no longer any characters there. His friend has screwed him over. I am coming here asking for help because I know he visits this place often. What I am asking for in way of help is any amount of ISK donation you can afford to make. Whether its one ISK or a million every bit will help. My goal is to raise enough ISK to buy a new char for him before he comes home in a week. At the moment he doesn’t know what has happened as I do not want to upset him and am hoping it won’t be so bad on him if he has another char to play with out having to start over from scratch. Donations can be sent in game to misty20057. If you have any questions you can email me misty20057 at yahoo.com.

Thank you for your time and consideration

The ISK isn't the issue. The issue is the skills. You train your skills in real time. Some skills take days, weeks, months to train.

I'm not sure, but I think Titan skill takes 365 days to train. You can raise all the ISK you want to, but it's not going to soften the blow of not having a character. If you want to get ISK you can always buy it from an online seller, although to me that takes away a major part of the game, that being making the isk to fund your character's endeavors.

If this is genuine I feel sorry for your husband, but on the bright side, he can experience the game all over again. And maybe this will give him a chance to switch to a new race.

Thank you for your kind reply. It is my hope. That if I am able to raise enough it would be possible to buy a character for ISK here http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=channel&channelID=109595

Buying just ISK is not allowed and CCP if they find out will take it away. But what you can do is but Game time cards of GTC's try evetimecode.com  but yeah really just the skills is the only bad thing. You should stab his "friend" lol not really.

Once the husband fnds out what happened then the friend is dead. especially if the caracter in question was more then 5 months old.

But don't be surprised at all if you don't get alot of replys or you get statements of " scame" EVE players are a suspicious lot and since CCP encourages such behavore the suspicious nature is warrented.

(On the chance that you are sincere, then I am sorry for your husband being sick.) But..This sounds like a stereotypical scam. The old "help me out by sending money" scams. You know those emails  you get, asking for donations to help someone out. This may just be someone hard for ISK and hoping to make a quick buck.
