Looking for a good new MMORPG with good player to player combat

Hey Im a planetside fanatic and have been playing (characters Descada and HELRonen) since the beta came out but am now experiencing some burnout.  I tried FFXI but got bored with not fighting real people, monsters just cant entertain me.  Im looking for a MMORPG that is relatively new or hasnt come out yet.   It definetly needs some kind of player to player combat preferably something with big battles.  Is there anything on the horizon that could replace my beloved planetside?

    Well, PS is an MMOFPS. About the only thing close to that is Neocron(which is a FPS style but has more RPG style to it then PS). Also, Guild Wars will be largely based around PvP.

    I play Dark Age of Camelot and there are Player vs. Player combat as well as Player vs. Everything so you can go between the two when you are bored with one or the other. I have been playing thiis game for aobut 2 years, its easy to learn and get around. Everyone that i have talked to that got on "just to try" has not left the game, that includes my husband, my self, and other relatives.

    WWIIOnline is the ultimate PVP (thats all there is pretty much). If you are looking for a mroe traditional MMORPG go with DAOC.

    Keep your eye on Guild Wars. You will have the option of third person or FPS camera view. The PvP is awesome! It's got great potential.

    Can tell you here and now if you are looking for pvp like planetside you are not going to find it simply because its a FPS not a RPG.

    All the games listed for you are RPG-DAoC and such

    Only game that comes close to planetside is WW2online because it is similar ro a FPS.Rest MMO are RPG ones.

    Linage 2 is totally pvp game. PvP is enabled anywhere except towns. By killing people you get karma, and you can drop items when you die so it's fun(except for the karma). Karma system is a little messed up. Once you kill someone you get a little karma, but for each other person you kill you get that, plus more, and it's quite hard to get rid of it. BUT, if you attack someone and he fights back you get NO karma :))) so pvp away. Anyways large guild battles for castles are coming soon
