Ahhrrg Having trouble activating beta account

in Lord of the Rings Online

I can't get the https://myaccount.turbine.com/ link to work.

I get the "This system is currently experiencing a high load. Please wait for the next available session or try again later." message.

I started trying at around 9PM central and it's now 2AM central. Oh well. The download just finished and after the install is done I'm gonna finally hit the sack.

I guess I'll just have to see if the site is working tomorrow when I wake up.

If anyone else had this problem and/or knows of a work around, I'd be greatful.

    I haven't filled out the page but when I visited the link I got that message as well. I just hit refresh a few times and it finally loaded up. I'm not sure if you will be able to advance it or not. F5 is the default hotkey to refresh the page. Just jam that key if ya need to .

    Some of the companies are mailing out the preorder key on Fridays. I think that would be the highest traffic days on that site.

    I had problems, but waited until early morning to update my turbine accounts.

    You can try again any time between now and the end of the month, no real hurry.

    Actually there is a real hurry. I got a beta key from Computer Games Magazine and it ends on the 25th or 30th, I can't remeber which.

    Anyway, I'm not gonna pre-Order a game I haven't played yet and I'd like to try the game out.

    I've been trying again today to get that site to work, but it won't.

    Plus you said to try in the early morning. It was 2 AM it doesn't get much earlier than that.

    I read on official forums that someone using Internet Explorer was having the same error. He switched over to Firefox and it worked fine. I'm not sure if that will help though. Seeing as it seems to have that error for me in both browsers, until I manually refresh it multiple times.

    There was a scheduled downtime for the account service a few days ago. I haven't seen any posted recently, so I'm not sure what the problem is now.

    I manually refreshed a ton of times and it didn't work.

    I'll try a different browser though and see if that works.

    i have tried 3 times now to create an account and still no idea if its been set up

    went through the hole setup thing and at end nothing

    try to login with user name and pass and it tells me no account by that name .i have the 10 day early access code but as of yet i cant get in

    but as soon as i setup account all the servers go down lmfao
