in Lord of the Rings Online
HELLO THERE!!



This damn game...



I've donwloaded it. All right. Now I've updated it to 1.12...



When I try the old username of turbine.com (I could play before patching to 1.12), it says Retry 1, Retry 2, Retry 3, Retry 4 and Retry 5. and then nothing happens.





AND I CAN'T PLAY!

    Sounds like an internet connection issue to me.  Try shutting down your firewall for a minute and logging on again.  I have to reset mine every time there is a patch or it will try to connect 20 times and then shut down.

    No... no... It doesn't work.. I keep getting "retry 1... retry 2..."

    Any other suggestion?

    Is the account that you are trying to use from closed beta? If it is did you update it with a pre-order? If not and you are just running on the open beta not sure. I had problems with mine during the pre-order post closed beta period. because I didn't update my account status.

    The thing is that I could log in fine with another client I've downloaded...



    But with this one, I can't log in.

    I have never understood why people go to a forum for more specific technical advice.



    You really need to contact support. That is why he keeps putitng lotro.com.



    Or, even better, post your question on the technical forums there. But if I were you I would just contact support.

    FYI for all of you trying to get the download client :

    *  The Beta is Closed

    *  The Free World Tour is Closed

    *  The download versions will no longer work

    *  The download versions never supported the High-Res Client

    *  There is NO free trial at this time

    *  You will need to create a paid account to play

    *  You will need a valid Key-Code to open a paid account

    *  Go buy the game
