thanks in advance

My only response is regarding what I think....
I've attempted to play and enjoy the game 3x in the past 2 years and come to the same conclusion...
It just doesn't do anything for me. The whole game just isn't enjoyable, for all aspects, FREE dungeon Runners does more for me and I don't play it anymore either.
i started daoc after release but havent played for a year or so now, i played on european servers and thay are dying out but i hear US servers still got allot of ppl playing, classic servers = daoc pre-ToA (a expantion which was a real grind), but from what i hear thay are gonna (if thay havent alrdy) implement a system where u can use points from pvping to get the ToA stuff, the rvr in daoc is one of the best i´ve played (shadowbanes pvp was better :P)
i might be mistaken about some of this but i know thay have a free trail, u could always try it.
I really like DAoC, I'v been playing for over five years now and I have yet to be bored, theres so much to do!
There are several types of servers:
Normal server: Includes all expansions, realm vs realm war. Typically it takes more time be able to compete in RvR compared to a classic server. Many players use Buffbots here.
PvP-Server : You can play all classes and attack all players anywhere(not those in your own guild)
Roleplay server: Requires you to stay(in-charater)otherwise it's like normal-server
PvE Coop server: No PvP at all, you can play all classes from all realms. There is a fronteir but you fight NPCs there.
Classic server: Trial of Atlantis expansion is remmoved and there is a range-restriction on buffs, while this removes some use of buffbots in RvR(you have to put the bot on stick or place it in a tower nearby) they are still usefull in PvE.
So for a new player, starting on a classic server might be best.
