I cannot ever find groups in this game for pve, if I want to group I have to make a pvp character, you can sit there lfg and lfg and sometimes yea you get one but not often enough and this is why I cannot get into it, no one likes to only solo all the time.

You're probably not going to like my answer, but form your own group. Rather than spamming "LFG!" and hoping that someone somewhere will take you in, take some initiative and spam "Starting Group!" You would not believe how many people just stand in districts waiting for someone to start a group. I usually get groups fully formed inside 10 minutes this way for virtually everything, even in deserted districts.

Paragons are awesome btw!
As always, I'll suggest finding a good guild and that will make the difference seem like night and day. That's a Catch-22 though, since you first need to find a group of guildies to see if you even like the guild, unless you just join one of those "join my guild" spammers, which you'll probably quit soon thereafter. I can't imagine a good, quality guild needing to spam chat...
I've found the quickest way to get a group is to announce this:
"(Your Profession or build here) doing Mission X for Master's [optional]. LF Players. Heroes Welcome. Invite self."
If you have heroes, always keep your best three with you on team when forming. You can always kick them if necessary. People are more likely to join someone who already has other players in a group than spend time watching you recruit.
I usually get groups like this. And when you add "heroes welcome", you're usually going to get a good player or two to join you (because most players with heroes really want to play them.)
P.S. Even though Paragons get no love, my last character through Nightfall on my first account - an Assassin - took two Paragons into Abaddon's mission (and later Heart of Abaddon for Razah) and didn't lose a single hero or henchie. The Paragons were Sologon, a motivation henchie, and General Morgahn, my command Paragon with high leadership. A command Paragon and Motivation Paragon working with a couple of Sins and a healer or two could clear a map very quickly indeed.
Hang in there. I use to hate Sins until I learned to play them. Now I love them. And FWIW, I love Paragons, too. If I see a forlorn-looking Paragon hanging around someday, I'll invite you.
And thanks for the kind remarks, VG. Didn't think of it that way, but that's one way to look at it (the other would be upside down, of course, but that gives me a headache).
Serling makes a good point, and for another reason. His spam looks friendly. I'd be more likely to pick him out of the crowd because he looks like he's here to have fun and oh by the way accomplish something.

Ditto. If you have Nightfall, that's the only chapter where you'll find Paragon skills. Depending on your secondary, you may find some skills in Prophecies or Factions that aren't in Nightfall, but a Paragon is pretty good without using any secondary profession skills.
