Yeah, VLC works well, but if you have a player plug-in associated with the file type (like Quicktime), then it tries to open it in the browser (even though it can't play it) and wont give you the option to download and save. So if you don't have ITunes software installed you can use an external player by uninstalling or unassociating the player.

I just watched the video. Thanks for posting it, it was cool.
My only question is, how much twitch is it? It sure looked like the guy was playing the game from a 3rd person perspective and not as a FPS. It's an RPG with the character development. The idea of 1/2 the time in instances with NPCs and/or friends sounds cool. Will there be online knowledge base type websites with codes and spoilers?
Since I'm old, I like to be slow methodical and figure stuff out. Is this game more or less complicated than something like the original half-life? This game has depth no doubt about it, but will it be hard? Too much twitch?
"it's really funny to watch people who are uninitiated to Tabula Rasa. Either they treat it like a first-person shooter and start jumping up and down and zigzagging, thinking it will make a difference, which it doesn't. What we have to educate people to is that the targeting is "sticky," you still have to aim through the reticle, say I'm going to shoot you, and if he runs under cover, you still need to move so you can get a bead on him, but the targeting reticle sticks to who you mean to be targeted to, so it's not an arcade game...
It's getting people to realize now that it's neither extreme of the mind numbing whack-a-mole, nor the dexterity-based jump-up-and-down-and-zigzag. It becomes now tactical—where I really need to consider what group of opponents they are, how they are going to move, what's their sensitivity, how smart are they and therefore now I'm going to make judgments as to what I'm going to do."
"But since the creatures are stronger, you will likely die. If you are a first-person shooter player, you start hopping and moving around, dodging bullets. That’s not how this game works. So those people also die. Tabula Rasa is a real-time tactics game. For example, if you and I were fighting, the game is full of sand bags. If you and I were fighting, we would do equal damage to each other. If I were to step behind a sand bag, I would take a lot less damage. If I squat down, I can get an easier bead and I am taking considerably less damage. The monsters know that too. If you’re in a tactically superior position, they will come around and kick you to the ground because they know while you are squatting you are a much more vulnerable hand to hand target. It’s all still done with die rolls like an RPG. It’s still my equipment and my character’s attributes that affect the calculation on damage"
He demonstrated there is sticky targeting so its more or less traditional RPG style. (no NGE here lol) He described it as a hybrid.
Its semi-twitchy in the speed and looks like it can get fast paced which is fine. I would think alot of us are tired of standing in front of a mob and smacking them with a sword or (insert generic fantasy weapon) on auto attack for 5 minutes at a time while you button mash a "specials" sequence over and over.
I am interested in the mission system they have. Although I am not really into linear pre-chewed gameplay in MMO's...I can appreciate well designed, challenging and fun mission type gameplay. It sort of reminded me of a refined or advanced CoX or GW style mission system.
What I am curious about is how much "freedom" we are going to get in this game. Is it all going to be on rails? How much impact are players going to have on the gameworld? Or is this just going to end up a GW or WoW style arcade game? It would be strange to see "lord brit" swing from creating one of the most open and freeform games ever made (UO) to a linear, scripted game with litte player freedom aside from choosing what mission they are going to do. The actual gameplay does look cool though.
