Staff's

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

I was wondering if there will be any melee staff users in the game. I'm not one for using swords or axes. For some reason I like to use a staff. In daoc I played a friar when the game came out and never switch classes. So far I haven’t seen any classes fighting with a staff. Maybe the elves will provide this. I know nothing about warhammer outside of this game. Is there any warhammer game where an elf uses a staff?

    I would imagine the mages,like the runepriest can staff bash.But I had a friar too,and you mean as there main attack,nah,not that I have seen.But as a friar you should be happy,you got your love patch.Warpriest is friar with a hammer.

    I don't think the shaman has been shown using anything other than a staff, doubt it will be used much for melee, though.

    i would imagine that it would be purely for stats just like in most mmorpgs. It would mast since for a caster to being do the same damage with a staff that a warrior class can do with a sword.
