Are servers still down..or am I experiencing something different?

in Lord of the Rings Online

The first little screen opens up with the title..it begins to log in a bunch of info..but when it gets to "Opening main form"...nothing happens..I see the ring down in my taskbar like its running..but nothing.

I restarted, it got a little further to update..then because it had to restart..same thing as the first scenario.  Most games will say like "log in server down" or something of the sorts.  So Im just wondering whether this is a personal issue or if its a common thing right now?

    ok..just got it to load all the way...weird..it's like an old car right now..gotta try it and try it until you get lucky and the engine finally turns over lol.

    The servers are up now. Yes, they were down for maintenance earlier this morning though.
