I was just a little curious to see what game appeals to you gamers the most and, and what you would like to see in them as far as gameplay. Thanks for taking time to respond

I'd have to say Star Trek Online, mostly because I've always been a Trek fan.  I think the possibilities for strong space and ground based missions and content, as well as the variety of possible classes/skills (docs, engineers, security, pilots, etc.) could create a very immersive and huge world to play in.  My only concern is the near complete lack of pvp opportunities, at least until possible expansions let you play Klingons, Romulans, Cardassians, Borg, etc.  I don't really feel like just having a friendly phaser fight with some other player on the holodeck.  And again, the balance that ends up being developed between space and ground content will probably be what makes or breaks the game.  Would be terrible if one aspect was really good and the other came off as a poorly managed afterthought.

Then there's the whole aspect of when the thing will actually get made.  I don't really feel like holding my breath for another 2 or 3 years before it comes out, which seems to be the timeline it's presently on.  But, like I said, I've always been a Trek fan, and limited experience with Stargate is definitely giving STO the edge.

Stargate worlds hands down for one thing you control a character for two this game has more potential to travel to other worlds and etc, also they can always add ships and space later, stargate also has alot of nice supernatural elements to it that can make the game very interesting.

I'll say Stargate, since there is no Star Trek mmorpg being made, just an EvE conversion by Perpetual.

Been a Star Trek fan since I was little... but see little in the current state of the game that I would enjoy. My game to look foreward to is  Tabula Rosa.

Probably Stargate for me. I like what they've been saying about weapon selection.

    Stargate Worlds

I didn't realize there were so many WoW clones...seeing WoW was the first MMO ever made..oh wait, wasn't there something before WoW, another MMO or 2 or 3 or ....

Although I've been a Star Trek fan for 30 years, I'm more looking forward to Stargate Worlds. For those that stated Tabula Rasa, I don't think you can compare the two games as they will be vastly different... don't get me wrong, I think TR looks extremely interesting and i will probably try it...

Star Trek Online, for sure. I love the movie Stargate, and can't friggin' stand the television show. And, anyway, I've been a Star Trek fan since I was practically an embryo.

Six months ago STO would have been a no brainer choice for me, but Perpetual's recent "development" decisions have clearly shown they don't get what the Star Trek franchise is about.  With them half assing the space portion of the game, we can only assume they'll put the same "effort" into the ground game as well.  So my answer at the current time would have to be neither game interests me anymore.

I like stargate the series and hope the game would be nice too

Im personally waiting on Huxley, if done correctly this game could be a hit and its a bit of 2 genres i enjoy the most.

The other one is Tubula Rasa, I have faith it will be a refined/well made game, i just it to be released already lol.

If WAR 40k was released id give it a try, i dont know much about WAR stuff at all but my friends do and they seem to love it so id try it.

Haven't given it much thought, and haven't read anything about Stargate Worlds yet....

So only thing I have to base my opinion on is I like the STO franchise/world and despise Stargate the TV series....  (would prefer a game based in the Farscape universe more)

I cant say either but if I was to choose if I just really had to, probably Star Trek but Sci-Fi just isnt that interesting games need to adapt to a fantasy type adding the scifi might mess with it too much, but you know there are some games like Huxley I would try or I played some game before that was Sci-Fi but the in game money cost real money so it turned me off.
