None of those four answers are my reason. I was getting bored of WoW, and I had to find a new game with a better community and a better social experience. I found the AoC sight, checked out the videos and stuff, and knew it was just right for me, so I joined the forums and applied for BETA. Im basically playing to meet new people and have fun with the new systems (ESPECIALLY THE BAR BRAWLING ZOMG) in AoC.

I can understand that and it's as valid reason as any.
The reason why I didn't add more choices is because I chosed the things that will differ this game the most from the rest of the mmo's.
With in Combat I also meant PvP but it seems that most people got that.
Sorry if this is off-topic, but this is the reason I will not play AoC. There are already too many games that promote the occult as a means of power and conflict resolution, but now we have games that promote making pacts with and summoning demonic entities, and with the release of Age of Conan, becoming outright possessed by them.
Now getting away from my opinion, to some speculation: If there are demons, they would probably enjoy the glorification that they would recieve from this game.
And finally, here's a question I have to wrap things up. Sramota, are you a satanist?
....It's a game. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to bring religion into this. And even so, who the hell cares? Religion is severely overrated O.o
One reason is hardly enough to justify paying the money it costs a month and retail price, hence the poll is abit weird. When i want a new mmo i don't go "oh that has a sweet combat system, BUY!"
I like the combination of nice graphics, mmo inuative combat system, the city building and sieges and developers that make these promises feel achievable.
I wont be trying it out any video clip ive seen of the game looks totally stupid, everyone ive seen the guy kills whatever he hits with one shot or in one the guy kills 4 npc's with 2 swings of his sword. Dont know about you guys but i would find that fun for about 30 seconds at the most

Thats not really what I meant. What I meant was which is the major reason you will play this game instead of any other mmorpg.
If you don't want to play it then there's no reason to to vote since this poll is aimed at those who will play it.
If I had the choice "All of the above" the poll wouldn't be interesting as most ppl would probably vote for that one.

You should have given it a trial (hey, it was free) as the combat isn't anything like that.... neither my level 15 Guardian or 15 Minstel can one shot a level 8 spider...takes a few blows to put them down. Same level mobs... (esp if you get 2 or 3) definitely require me to excercise some skills to win the fight....

<Mod edit>Its the truth any clip i seen looked lame with the character one shoting everything in his path Guy runs into a little tent emcampment and 5 npcs came at him he swings his sword twice and all of them drop Or the one where the guy is riding his horse one shotting npcs as he rides by tell you looked lame to me

I've seen that clip to, your'e talking about the 9 minute clip where one of funcoms staff 'tries' to explain things in english, do you not? If so, he said he used a script so he lvled up to 32 or 35 plus adding AoC's version of critical hit to 100% (critical every time), keep in mind aswell that he was in the starting area, you know, lvl 1 mobs. Haven't seen the one with the horse though, but I'd say it's very possible that character would be much higher lvl. Even I can one shot enemies with my priest in WoW outside Goldshire, using any weapon I could equip...
I'm looking at Conan as my next game for several reasons. I was playing VG but many things they promised pre-release were not in the game. If Conan offers Sieges, Mounted Combat, Nice Lore, Blood, In depth exciting combat, drunken bar brawls and more then I think I will give it go.
I also really like the graphics. I bought a semi-super computer for VG and it never did give me the "Oooos and Ahhs" I was hoping for graphically. Conan actually looks better to me than Oblvion from the scenery I've seen. It also has some nice animations that look better in Alpha than many games looked after release. I looked at a Video of Khemi and the city seemed alive at this early stage. Alleycats licked their paws, citizens walked around and pointed when discussing topics with other citizens etc.
The idea of the game being a little darker appeals to me and I like how the classes are shaping up. Really looks like you will have some neat abilities.
Lastly the idea of a Player built city and controlled PVP ala DAOC appeal to me as well. It seems to have enough stuff to give people endless stuff to do in the endgame.

Well, some of the mobs he was mowing through were level 1-3. He also was working in an area with level 15ish mobs, which took him a little longer to take down. Same situation with the horse, the character already has a huge advantage, and he ups the ante by charging at the NPC, greatly increasing his damage. You are looking at videos that demonstrate some of what can be done with the combat and the interface, not what combat will actually be like.
