me and my younger brother are going to start up an mmo. but i would like to know which game is the most fun for duoing?
any other info about douing would be greatly appreciated as well.
Comments
EQ2 is really duo friendly
and there is a load of healer type class's which makes it more fun well worth a shot and i think the free trial is on
but you cant use the new race models in the tiral version i heard.
playing eq2 and two worlds
Try Mystic (healer) and Shadowknight (tank)
World of Warcraft
City of Heroes/Villains
All of those are VERY duo friendly. City of Heroes/Villains being the best if you have a short amount o f time to play (1-2 hours) and Everquest 2 and WoW being if you want to get really into a game.
WOW
EQ2 isn't that great imo
Doktar - 70 Troll Priest - Perenolde
thx guys, appreciate the help.
so, its obvious that ill go with city of heroes/villains, wow, or eq2
BUT, i forgot to mention that my bro was alot younger than me. hes not to young to understand games by ANY mean, he plays games all the time. but, this will be his first mmo.
does that change the viewpoints alittle?
yes
try city of villains/heros. would be a good game to get his MMO wings

I went through something similar to your case, OP. CoH was my brother's first MMO and he convinced me of getting it too so we played together. Of course, practically all the time we were duo-ing. He grabbed a Tanker and I got a Defender (in my case, a debuffer, not a healer), and we rolled all the way to lvl 50 together, we formed a supergroup, and the game's still our favorite game to play together almost three years later. We come mostly from an action game background, and we loved the game. If you like slower games which aren't that action oriented, well, you could try WoW. It's easy to pick up as well, but it's a little more about doing other stuff and not as centered around combat as CoH. I don't want to prejudice your judgement with my experience, but I have to say that I found the CoH community a lot more team-oriented than WoW, in general.
In any case, good luck finding the right game for you and your bro to play
