Was just wondering what people think is the best open PvP game/server around? And are there any I don't know of
Yes yes I'm trying to feed my PvP addiction Is there a Darktider's anonymous meeting place anywhere around here?

Obviously I won't go into details here nor will I give you links. Google is your friend.
Lineage 2 on Lionna
or
Eve Online

I tried Lineage 2 and found it to be quite laggy for one, and a fair grind for the second
Does the lag play a part in the PvP and is it worth the grind to stick around?
Other than that, thanks for your input everyone I am currently checking out MxO's PvP

Eve-online I wont bother selling it, either you like it or you don't. (btw dont expect to start the game and pwning stuff 2 weeks to 1 month learning curve)
Games coming out: Warhammer, AoC
Games that might or might not ever come out: Darkfall

Currently I'm playing L2, and sure it's got a grind. But when you work on your levels with people you like, it's a whole lot more fun. I'm looking forward to the PvP.
I came to this game from Shadowbane, which is a lot of fun PvP wise. The flip side, is that the graphics are lower quality and there is still lag in the game. On the reverse again, the game is free, the politics are cut-throat, and the game is a fast leveler - with the point being PvP end games.
Up to you. Both are good fun. DAoC is the king of RvR - which is PvP on a grand scale. Though I didn't like the 1v1 PvP in that game as much as I liked it in Shadowbane.

EDIT: p.s. I'm not saying EVE-Online is bad. I didnt' get very far, because the leveling for the game seems wrong. It's not my preferred method. If the leveling style was different (it'd be a different game - yes) I would have stuck with it. The rest of the game was very nice; Graphics, gameplay, relationships, and the well designed ships. I just couldn't get past the leveling hang-up I had.
I too played Shadowbane and found it pretty fun, I think it's starting to die off now though It became hard to find anyone to fight.
Does DAoC still have a decent active population? If so I played that game a long time ago but never really got too far into the PvP aspect of it, would it be worth going back now?
Thanks again!

It doesn't take long to level with the new changes to experience and regeneration rates. Plus battlegrounds along the way are populated so you can always take a break from PvE at the levels with popular battlegrounds.
Gear is not hard to get either. You can get it in many ways including RvR.
