in Star Wars Galaxies
Title saids it all, I was not there before the game was so called ruined, I know how it feels when games are changed dramitcally though but that does not always mean ruined to me it just feels like something is being taken away from you, anyways I hear its getting better and etc and since there is nothing good out atm decided what the hek I will give it a shot and I will decide if I like it for myself.

    Hmmm I skateboard have friends a gf I go out and play games as a hobby yea I dont have a life, saids the guy trolling the forum because he does not have one? Heh pretty ironic:)

    In game hit ALT, click the little metal looking box on the right side of the screen and hit community, click friends list, and type in my name Aeskob and hit add.

    Well I do have a few questions while its patching, first I wanted to know is this a hardcore mmorpg? If it is I cannot play it im looking for something where I can get things done in a few hours and be happy with my gaming experience, I want to keep my life if ya know what I mean hehe, also its obvious everyone wants jedi as there first class what are the pros and cons of a jedi and can you choose to be a knight or master?

    I understand about a life, lol, I go out all the time to shows and with friends and I am 17 and want to make the best out of my high school years.  I have been playing for around 2 weeks and have a level 20- 90 is cap.  I play about 2-3 hours a day but not always leveling- I like to participate in my guild and just hang out in game with people.  If you do quests you can be happy with about 2 hours a day, and get a lot accomplished.  Jedi is my profession, and I like it, but like anything it is not for everyone.

    That is a great site for getting to know everything.  You should look at the professions and find what makes you feel good and what makes you think would be awesome.  All professions have ups and downs so see what you like most.

    This is good news, I was wondering what are the recommended specs on this game? Man this patch is sooo slow.

    Well I have a Pentium 4 2.80 GHz

    1GB RAM

    NVIDIA GeForce Fx 5200



    When I had 512MB it ran too slow for me and I couldn't play it well.



    Tell me your current specs.

    The game is great for casuals. I loved being able to hop in and out of the game to do other things. Also there are harvesters that you can run while offline that pretty much make you a buttload of money if you sell the resources to crafters. Takes a bit to find a really good spot, but give it an hour and you could be rolling in the credits!

    I have pretty much the same pentium, nvidia 6800 gt 256 mb card and 1.5 gig of ram. eq2 ran ok for me but it still lagged I hated it so didnt play it.

    That will be good

    I currently have my settings set to low, just because of my graphics card, so I run fast, but graphis aren't amazing, while they are still good and nice enough for me, they aren't what they are at highest levels.



    Just experiment.  At first run at the settings they give you, then if it lags, turn down different parts until you find the combos that make it run fast, but also give you the graphics you want in a game.
