I am sorry if there is another topic about this that I missed. I have seen many teasers about this, and 1up.com already has it under its "Game Collection" list. Blizzard has also been speaking openly about having "another game" anything else on this or opinions?

D3 is just gonna be a cashcow.
They shoulda stopped when they were on top to be honest.
I'll give Old D a nuking to kingdom come once, sure twice...
But heck one woulda thought it should be enough when you went down and not only took Diablo out, you also kicked all of his brothers and sisters...
What's next? "Diablo 3 - The Rise of Bush"? I mean, kicking Diablo and the gang AGAIN is just stretching it..

It all sucked.
Lets see...
Warcraft- 1(I don't know much about it), 2 and expansion, 3 and expansion as far as I know + World of Warcraft
Diablo- 1 (Expansion?), 2 and expansion
Starcraft- 1 and expansion... SC Ghost but that failed
I think they left SC to die, I was really looking forward to another SC game.
The author of the books is now working on a new one and he said he doesn't work for a dead game. Also said that Blizzard wouldn't abandon 2 of their best games like that.
As to who the ennemy will be? Well I don't remember the exact rumor but it's on the Diablo 3 forums and it's not Diablo/Mephisto/Baal
Personally I think that waiting for so long was a big mistake as people are already forgetting everything about Diablo II. I can't even play the game anymore because of the hours I put in it over the years. They won't be able to ride on the success of D2 much so D3 would need to be great by itself.
If they made a Diablo MMO they would proably place it during the Diablo 2 time.

i sure don't hope that a classic D3 comes out..
Where it is exactly like D1 and D2 with a new story,
I loved both 1 and 2 but to be honest i hope they will make a Starcraft 2 or a completely new game instead.
Sure, to pick up the old axe and swing it like a maniac once more would be a world of fun, but i'd rather see a new idea..
blizzard is good at chocking and making new stuff that works, lets hope they chock us once more.
PS. i dont think they will make a mmo out of diablo... its a hack 'n'slash it would be hard to make a world that big with that many npc's
plus, they focus on WoW.
